                                   14.00/14.30 – 18.00/20.00

There are no set opening times but many shops are often shut in the afternoon and on Fridays they often close a little earlier. The majority of shops and public places close on Sundays and public holidays.

festivals & events:

Listings can be found for each island on their individual calendar of festivals and events. The most famous is the Sao Vicente Carnival, which is held in February, however there are many other smaller scale festivals throughout the year.
