Despite the success of her modeling career, which is already ten years old, Ana Sofia decided to try to make the jump to television because she believes she is “at ease in front of the camera” and has what it takes to “play the role of television host.”
“What’s more, I believe that this is a way of stimulating myself professionally and embracing new challenges,” she says.
In 2003, Ana Sofia visited Cape Verde for the first time to meet her grandmother, uncles, aunts and cousins – a visit back to her roots that she described as an “unforgettable moment.” After ten years as a model, she intends to continue her career, but confesses that she is currently more inclined toward work with a social bent.
